Walker Gallery.

7°C, some rain,
Liverpool makes a great day out. The Walker Gallery holds a very fine collection. There were a few gems, this landscape hides a meteorite. Maybe I was drawn in after this week’s comet.

James Hamilton Hay- The Falling Star, 1909, oil on Canvas

After enquiries at the main desk, I was told that the paintings are available as prints direct from their own photographer. I may well follow this up.
If that gets results, then a similarly, I could pursue that painting in Birmingham (Fantin-latour’s Portrait of Mrs F-L).

More fun was had at a display that invited up to draw a picture from one of their displays.
